Returns/Refunds Policy

Faulty Products

All goods purchased from Prices Plus come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If there is a problem with an item you have purchased from Prices Plus, you can return it to us. Upon assessment, Prices Plus will offer a full refund or replacement if there is a major problem with the item. We may offer a repair or replacement if the problem is not major.

You must provide us with your proof of purchase (e.g., your Prices Plus receipt, online tax invoice, credit card or bank statements). Any refund will be provided via the same method of payment as the original purchase.

Our change of mind returns policy set out below is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law because we want you to be happy with your purchase.

Change of Mind Returns

Prices Plus will offer you a refund or exchange for most purchases (some exclusions apply) within 30 days of purchase, provided that:

  • You produce proof of purchase (your Prices Plus store register receipt or bank statement)
  • The product (including all manuals and accessories) and packaging (including tags and shrink wrap) is in its original condition
  • The item is unused, unworn, in resaleable condition, and not a personalised product

Exclusions to Change of Mind Returns

Certain items, because of their nature, cannot be returned if you change your mind. These are:

  • Clearance Items
  • Online Only or Special Customer Order
  • Perishable Goods
  • Downloadable and Electronic Content
  • Underwear, swimwear, and hosiery
  • Bedding accessories (including mattress protectors and pillows)
  • Cosmetics and fragrances
  • Personal Care Items
  • Pet jackets and accessories
  • Gift cards (the card and its value are non-refundable)

Your Privacy

When returning a product, you may be asked for information relevant to your return or to satisfy legislative requirements. If you do not provide this information, we may be unable to process your return. If you do not have a receipt or proof of purchase, you will be required to provide identification containing your full name such as a drivers license. Prices Plus will record your name and form of identification provided, which may be accessed by Prices Plus for fraud protection purposes. Prices Plus will store and use your information in accordance with our privacy policy.
